Use your AdornPay wearable with Curve or VIMpay

Nooit meer zoeken naar je pinpas of portemonnee, dat klinkt goed toch? Combineer fashion en functionaliteit en betaal wereldwijd met jouw AdornPay-wearable! Onze wearables zijn gekoppeld aan een Curve of VIMpay account. 


Let op: Je kunt momenteel alleen een creditkaart of een nieuwe debitkaart (met kaartnummer) koppelen aan Curve en/of VIMpay.

Indien je klant bent bij Rabobank, Bunq, Knab, SNS bank en Triodos, kun je al een nieuwe betaalpas (debitkaart met kaartnummer) aanvragen bij de bank.

How does it work?

Activating your wearable

1. Download the Manage Mii App
Download de 'Manage Mii App' in de Google Play of App Store.
2. Create an account
Open the Manage Mii App and register. You will receive an SMS to verify the registration.
3. Add a payment method
Add a payment method, such as Curve or VIMpay. Both options will be further explained in the block below.
4. Pair your wearable
Add your wearable to the Manage Mii App.
1. Open the Manage Mii App.
2. Press the orange cross at the top right.
3. Then click 'Add a wearable'.
4. Scan your wearable by holding it against your phone's "NFC hotspot". This could be the top left back (iPhone) or the center back of your phone (Android). Don't forget to turn on your phone's NFC function first.

Follow the steps to complete the activation of your wearable.

When asked to add your payment card, use the card details of your (virtual) Curve or VIMpay card.
5. Experience the convenience
Your wearable is now ready to use. When paying, hold your wearable no more than 2cm from the payment terminal and experience the convenience yourself!

Payment options

Curve
Curve is a (free) wallet that merges multiple payment cards in the mobile app. This allows you to make payments with one (virtual) card.

You can currently link a credit card or a new debit card (with card number). If you are a customer of Rabobank, Bunq, Knab, SNS bank and Triodos, you can already request a new payment card (debit card with card number) from the bank.
How does Curve work?
1. Download de Curve app, wanneer je deze link gebruikt is dit geheel gratis.

2. Registreer jouw Curve account door alle stappen te doorlopen.

3. Voeg jouw betaalkaart(en) (creditcard of nieuwe debitkaart) toe aan je Curve wallet.

Klik hier om een gratis Curve account aan te maken.

4. Voeg je wearable toe aan de Manage Mii App:

1. Open de Manage Mii App.
2. Druk rechtsboven op het oranje kruisje.
3. Klik vervolgens op 'Voeg een wearable toe'.
4. Scan jouw wearable door deze tegen de "NFC-hotspot" van je telefoon te houden. Dit kan de linksboven aan de achterkant zijn (iPhone) of aan de achterkant in het midden van je telefoon (Android). Vergeet niet om eerst de NFC-functie van je telefoon aan te zetten.

Doorloop de stappen om de activatie van je wearable af te ronden. 

Wanneer gevraagd wordt om je betaalkaart toe te voegen, gebruik dan de kaartgegevens van je (virtuele) Curve kaart. Je kunt deze vinden in de Curve app. (Ga naar "launchpad - account - card details")

VIMpay
VIMpay is an app in which you can create a free, virtual prepaid credit card. Ideal if you don't have a credit card.

NB: VIMpay only works if you are a resident of Germany or Austria. You need a German or Austrian telephone number to register.
How does VIMpay work?
1. Download de VIMpay app.

2. Registreer jouw VIMpay account door alle stappen te doorlopen.

3. Waardeer jouw virtuele creditcard op in de VIMpay app. 

4. Om je wearable toe te voegen aan de VIMpay app, klik op '+/store' en vervolgens op 'wearables'. Klik daarna op 'Manage-Mii'. Een extra virtuele kaart zal worden toegevoegd aan je 'board'. Gebruik de details van deze kaart om je kaart te koppelen in de Manage Mii app.

5. Voeg je wearable toe aan de Manage Mii App:
  1. 1. Open de Manage Mii App
  2. 2. Druk rechtsboven op het oranje kruisje
  3. 3. Klik vervolgens op 'Voeg een wearable toe'

Wanneer gevraagd wordt om je betaalkaart toe te voegen, gebruik dan de kaartgegevens van je (virtuele) VIMpay kaart. Je kunt deze vinden in de VIMpay app (klik op het blauwe Manage-Mii icoon). Om je CVC of pincode te zien, swipe dan de kaart naar links/rechts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find my PIN code?
For payments above €50, a PIN code is sometimes requested. You can find your PIN code in the Curve or VIMpay app.

Curve: Go to 'launchpad' and click on 'account', then click on 'card details' and 'see card PIN'.

VIMpay: Go to your VIMpay board, in the dark blue 'Manage-Mii' segment, click on the clock icon in the middle. Slide the card to the left to reveal the four-digit PIN code.
How can I activate my wearable?

How can I (temporarily) block my wearable?
If you lose your wearable, you can easily and quickly block the payment function in the Curve or VIMpay app.

Curve: Go to 'launchpad' and click on 'account > manage > lock card'. Please note: you will then block your Curve card.

VIMpay: Tap the icon in the center of the card segment. Click on 'Settings > Block card > Deactivate card'. Please note: you block your VIMpay card, this cannot be undone.
Can I connect multiple wearables?
Yes! This can be done easily and quickly. You can connect multiple wearables in the Manage Mii app. This way you can switch which wearable you want to use. All wearables are then linked to your Curve or VIMpay card.

Order your favorite wearable in our webshop and only go through step 4 of the step-by-step plan under 'activating your wearable'.
What should I do if my wearable is blocked?
Your wearable itself cannot be blocked. The (virtual) debit card from Curve or VIMpay. If it is blocked for whatever reason, you can reactivate it in the Curve or VIMpay app. If this does not work, you can contact Curve or VIMpay customer service.
Where is the payment chip located?
The payment chip is located in the following location (between the leather):

- Bracelet: opposite the clasp
- Watch strap: next to the clasp (opposite the timepiece)
How can I get in touch?

How can I exchange or return my wearable?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase after receiving it, you can return it to us. Click here for the conditions.

Can I temporarily disable the payment function/NFC of my wearable?
In the Manage Mii app, go to the relevant wearable. Then click on 'Curve Card' and slide the orange slider behind 'Active' aside. The payment function is now temporarily 'frozen'. By sliding the slider to the side again, the payment function will become active again.
